Many in the little mountain town of Detroit, Oregon lost their homes and livelihoods to the fires this last summer/fall. It felt surreal to drive past homes and only see a fire place and a few charred remains, to walk through ground laden with ash, and wander through a near ghost town. I hope Detroit rebuilds stronger than ever and finds beauty in the ashes. 💪
