Josh and Taylor traveled from the lovely state of Pennsylvania to begin their marriage in a place they had never been—but somehow always knew was right. Montana, with its dramatic peaks and untamed beauty, called to them immediately.

After Taylor shared her story of harvesting a state-record bear and we swapped hunting stories, I knew we were going to get along just fine. A two-day snowstorm had settled over the high country, but as it broke, the most magical evening unfolded. Snow-packed peaks rose above glassy lake reflections, and it became clear they couldn’t have chosen a better night.

In her vows, Taylor shared that you know you’ve found the right person when you can read 1 Corinthians 13 and replace the word love with their name.

June in Montana is always a bit of a gamble, but we were gifted a sunny day—snow still clinging to the mountaintops and wildflowers beginning to bloom across the fields. Montana is wild, unpredictable, and endlessly stunning—and it was the perfect place for Josh and Taylor to say yes to forever.
