Daniel & Laiken ~ October Snow in the GNP
Daniel and Laiken made a deliberate choice: step away from the expectations of a big wedding and follow a longing instead. They left their home state of Kentucky and flew to a place they had never seen with their own eyes—Montana—because something about the jaw dropping mountains felt right for the way they wanted to begin their marriage.
They arrived in October, a month that never promises anything except beauty in one form or another. The day swung between sharp, wind-driven snow and pockets of warm autumn sun. They took it all in without hesitation— laughing at how Montana refused to settle on a single mood.
For Laiken, eloping here wasn’t spontaneous. It was a dream she’d carried for years. Watching them move through this landscape—sometimes bracing against it, sometimes fully held by it—felt like witnessing that dream take shape in real time. I’m grateful to have stood alongside them as it became something tangible, something they can return to for the rest of their lives.
