The Jones Family - Newborn - Montana Autumn

A newborn is a great excuse for a gorgeous family session set right outside of Glacier National Park. Jill is a dear friend of mine and an amazing photography colleague. Check out her work here . I was so honored when I got this opportunity to shoot her family. Originally, this was supposed to be a maternity session, but little baby Jack came early and we had so many rescheduling due to sickness when you have 4 littles, it’s cold and flu season, and your client has 4 littles. I’m so glad we were finally able to make this work. . . And you must check out these outfits. Great inspiration! Jill, I hope you will soak in these days. We all know how fast they go and it’s only faster with each little one.

Shane & Dasha - Maternity - Glacier National Park

Shane & Dasha were on vacation exploring the great state of Montana when they decided to get some photos to share their big announcement - they are expecting their first baby! There is something so incredible about your first baby - the first cry, the first smile, the first time they reach for your hand. And, for real, Dasha rocks this look! We had Glacier National Park almost to ourselves (we always have to share a little), but was so peaceful!

Emma - Retro Inspired Winter Session

So when I found this retro snow suit, I fell in love. I think this style should have never left us and maybe these images will bring a little bit of the flower power back in style. Just finding this location was an adventure. Let’s say my sister’s directional skills can be fueled by confidence, but lacked certain direction. As I type this, the snow has rapidly disappeared. Consider this an ode to the gorgeous, but rather aggressively cold winter we had this year in Montana.
